Friday should be a lot of fun. An unbeaten SEC team in Boise…to play basketball against a good Bronco team. 10,000 fans expected at Taco Bell Arena. Hopefully this night will be the start of big things in the way of attendance for the 2012-2013 season. Teams even better than LSU will come later in the season – teams like UNLV, UNM and SDSU.

But first things first. This Bronco team is good…6-2 on the year. A win at Creighton…nobody else has done that. The Blue Jays hammered St. Joseph's and Nebraska recently. A close loss at Michigan State. The other loss was in a spot the Broncos were ripe to be taken…at Utah. It was their third road game in eight days. The team looked tired. Remember a few weeks back when San Antonio sent some marquee players home at the end of a road trip. Things like that matter in the game of basketball.

Tonight's keys will be handling the ball and rebounding. The Broncos are at their best when they make good passes and get open shots. Not being very big, Boise State has to work harder on the boards. When they've rebounded they have done well. LSU is great at rebounding. They've outrebounded opponents by nine a game.

This game is coming at a great time. It is the big Boise State event of the week. Bronco Nation is going to show up and make Taco Bell Arena a tough place to play.
