SDSU plays like a bully. Aztec players hit Boise State late. Stood over them when they were tackled hard or pancake blocked.  Pushed them after the whistle. Fought with them on the sidelines. Pointed fingers and talked smack. Boise State took it until Jay Ajayi pushed back on the SDSU sideline and fought his way out with Alec Dhaenens and Troy Ware.  Seem to turn the emotional tide in the game.

The lack of caries for Ajayi in the 1st quarter was alarming. 2 carries? The idea must have been to use him as bait for the passing game. Didn't work. As Hawk noted , when Sanford spread out the SDSU defense the running lanes opened up. 

Grant Hedrick has poise. His first interception was because his arm was hit by a 260 pound lineman who knocked over 340 pound Mario Yakoo. He never bitched. His 2nd interception was a poor throw designed to let Chaz Anderson make a play. Hedrick was just following directions and it made the offense look impatient with a 13-0 deficit. He led the offense on a no huddle sprint to end the first half. He gave the team hope at halftime only trailing 20-10. He didn't respond to Aztec DB Trey Lomax trying to rip his head off in the 4th quarter. He kept his cool. 

Sperbeck had 5 clutch receptions for touchdowns or 3rd down conversions. MONEY.

Boise States 14 power run play 70 yard drive to seal the win took 6:36 off the clock and left SDSU with only 2:01 to score 9 points. the drive was so physical that Ajayi had to come out of the line up two times to catch his breath. In 2012, SDSU killed the final 5:35 of the game with a power running 11 play drive that Boise State couldn't stop. Touche.

Dan Hawkins was great in the booth. Watching Hawk is like sitting next to him in the film room. He pulled out all the stops too. " Blind dog in the meat house" " white lines" " head on a swivel" "leakage" "caught another gear" "he can roll" "put a rock on the gas pedal" "steal another teams will" and  "good thing it wasn't a spear cause it him in the chest" were classic.

The Boise State fans are goign to be tested two more times. The Utah State kick off will be cold and late as will the MWC Championship game. A new tradition is starting. HOW MUCH DO YOU BLUE? They should be rewarded
