With 2015 just a few weeks away, I thought I would make some "not so bold" predictions for the new year. Based on my confidence level, I have assigned a probability quotient to each. See if you agree!

January: Governor C.L. "Butch Otter" will congratulate the Boise State Broncos on another Super Bowl Victory. Probability: 47%

February: When seeing a certain Deacon at my church I will say to myself again; "man he looks like exactly like (Arkansas Coach) Brett Bielema." Probability: 100% … Chance it actually is Brett Bielema: 0%

March: The Boise State Basketball team will earn a berth in the NCAA Tournament. Probability: 42%

April: Jay Ajayi will be drafted by the late second round of the NFL draft. Probability: 60%

May: Jeff Caves will utter the phrase "Agree or disagree Mike Prater" no less than 60 times during the month.  Probability: 97%

June: With new owners and a new affiliation, the Boise Hawks will bring up the need for a new stadium.  Probability 100%…Chance there will be an announcement in 2015 regarding a new stadium: 27%

July: 26 Wednesdays into the year…26 Pizza nights. Probability: 100%

August: Mike Prater will suggest the Idaho Vandals need to go back to the Big Sky Conference in football. Probability: 100%…Chance the Vandals actually return to the Big Sky for football in 2016: 33%

September: Brett Rypien will start at least one game at quarterback for the Broncos in 2015. Probability: 55%

October: KTVB's Jay Tust will tweet out a stat that makes you say to yourself;  "WTF Jay, that's crazy!" Probability: 100%

November: Some stupid professional athlete will do something to get suspended. Probability: 100%…Chance Idaho Sports Talk will discuss it ad nauseam: 100%

December: Boise State football coach Bryan Harsin's name will come up for other jobs. Probability: 100%…Chance he will take a new job: 21%
